Lora McNeil RCAT, RTC, BFA
I am passionate about having real conversations about difficult topics, discovering the blocks that hold us back from our authenticity and uncovering exactly who we NEED to be; for our best lived life. I believe my role is as your ally. To pivot alongside you and gently support towards potential solutions as yet unimagined. You are amazing for recognising what no longer fits and wanting to show up for yourself. Let me help you reach your goals.
For over 10 years, I have worked as an Art Therapist in a variety of establishments, ranging from private practice, First Nations, federal agencies, and community based organisations. My approach to art therapy is one of empowerment and holistic health; to work with you towards ways of enabling your own inner strengths and resources to help you make shifts towards personal wellness, in relationships at home and at work, and the changes that you seek to leading a more fulfilling life.
I completed my graduate studies at the Vancouver Art Therapy Institute earning a Graduate Diploma in Art Therapy, hold a Bachelors in Fine Arts from Emily Carr University of Art and Design, am a Registered member of the Canadian Art Therapy Association and a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor with ACCT. I have specialised further education using Expressive Arts Therapy to support individuals with a history of trauma and abuse.
